Reising and Grange Named to NEWISA Div. Soccer Bowl

November 14, 2006

NORTH ANDOVER, MASS. - Megan Reising (Diamond Point, N.Y.) and Casey Grange (Methuen, Mass.), Bryant's only two seniors from the 2006 Women's Soccer team, have been selected to participate in the NEWISA Division II Senior Bowl on Sunday, December 3rd at Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass. at 1 p.m.

The Bulldogs finished the 2006 season with a school record 15 wins and their second career NCAA appearance.

Reising played in 67 games for the Bulldogs in her career as a defender and a midfielder, posting two goals and an assist prior to the 2006 season. This season, she scored in her team's second game, a 6-0 victory over Dominican and has started in 18 of 19 matches. Megan's heart and desire will be missed.  She is one of the hardest working players, who had to overcome a knee injury early in her career.

Grange appeared in 80 games for the Bulldogs during her career, setting the school record for goals in a season with 19 and in a career with 40. She is the first Bulldog to ever reach 100 points.  Grange was the team's leading scorer the past two seasons and was the first solo captain since the 2001 team that went to the NCAA Tournament. She was named to the Northeast-10 Conference First-Team this season and is an All-American candidate.
