Women's soccer cracks top-25 national rankings.
August 16, 2006
The Bryant women's soccer team will begin its season in familiar territory, ranked in the top-25 in the NSCAA/Adidas preseason Division II poll.
The Bulldogs, who finished last season 13-6-2, are ranked 25th in the nation and are among four ranked Northeast-10 schools.
Coach Chris Flint's 2005 squad was ranked as high as No. 12 nationally and No. 2 regionally. Under Flint's direction, the Bulldogs have produced 13 or more wins in the past three seasons, as well as five consecutive winning campaigns, and have cracked the top-25 national poll consistently.
The Bulldogs kick off their season Aug. 25th vs. Caldwell (2 p.m.) and Aug. 26th vs. Dominican (1 p.m.) in the Pace University Tourney.
Bryant's home opener is Sept. 6th against Northeast-10 rival Stonehill.
