BRYANT'S MALTA NAMED THIRD TEAM ALL-AMERICA BY DAKTRONICS

SAN ANGELO, Texas - Bryant University junior defender DANIELLE MALTA (Bethel, Conn.) was named to the 2007 Daktronics NCAA Division II Women's Soccer All-America Third team announced this week. Sports Information Directors from NCAA Division II schools and conferences selected the All-America teams.
Malta, the 2007 Northeast-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, anchored a defense that allowed just 21 goals on the season and advanced to the NCAA Division II tournament for the second consecutive year. The Bulldogs tied a school record in 2007 with 17 wins going 17-2-4 on the year.
Grand Valley State's Katy Tafler was named the NCAA Division II
Daktronics Player of the Year.
