WOMEN ROLL OVER WPI, 104-83, TO STAY PERFECT IN 2007-08

The Bryant men's and women's swim teams stayed perfect Saturday afternoon with a pair of wins over Worcester Polytechnic Institute at the Chace Athletic Center pool. The women moved to 8-0 with a 104-83 victory over the Engineers, while the men edged WPI in their closest meet yet, 93-90.
The women were led by a pair of wins from Lisa Zanchi (North Reading, Mass.), who took top times in the 50-yard freestyle (27.11) and the 100-yard freestyle (59.43). Jess Looney (Goffstown, NH) finished first in the 200-yard IM, also setting a new pool record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:13.90.
Both the men and the women next compete at Bridgewater State, Wed., Jan. 16. at 6 p.m.
