SMITHFIELD, RI -- In their last home meet of the 2007-08 season, the men's and women's swim teams both came away with a win over UMass Dartmouth Wednesday night at the Chace Athletic Center. The men trumped the Corsairs, 94-82, while the women cruised to a 126-74 victory.

Despite having no seniors to send off Wednesday night, the Bulldog women swam tough to move to 8-0 on the 2007-08 season. Sophomore Jess Looney (Goffstown, NH) swam away with a trio of wins, in the 100-yard freestyle (57.25), the 50-yard free (26.50) and the 1000-yard free (11:23.24).

Four others each won an event of their own, boosting the Bulldogs to continue their perfect season.

The men and women next compete at Saint Michael's on January 26. Start time is 11:00 a.m.
