BRYANT MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SWIMMING THIRD AFTER DAY ONE OF CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Bryant men's and women's swim teams are currently third overall after the first day of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships Friday evening at Southern Connecticut State University. The men have 115 points, trailing Southern Connecticut (153) and Bentley College (129). The women are also third with 112 points, trailing Southern Connecticut (160) and Le Moyne (147).
On the women's side, Jess Looney took home third in the 1650 freestyle relay in a time of 18:19.87 while teammate Amy Howell was ninth in 18:57.08. The pair teamed with Jill Hira and Jill Squillante to help the Bulldogs to a fourth place finish in the 800 yard freestyle relay in 8:12.96 while the women's 200 yard medley relay was fifth.
The conference championships continue Saturday and Sunday.
