BULLODGS FINISH FIRST DIVISION I SEASON WITH STRONG ECAC CHAMPIONSHIP PERFORMANCES
CAMBRIDGE, MASS.- The Bryant mens and womens swim teams finished their first season of Division I competition Sunday at the ECAC Championships, with the men finishing 15th overall, scoring 69 points, and the women 21st, scoring 18 points.

FERRIGNOS SIXTH PLACE FINISH HIGHLIGHTS DAY 2 OF ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR BULLDOGS; MEN JUMP TO 14TH, WOMEN 20TH
CAMBRIDGE, MASS. Senior Tom Ferrigno swam a 4:03.11 to finish sixth in the 400 individual medley and help the Bryant mens swim team move up to 14th overall with 53 points at the 2009 ECAC Championships. The women grabbed four more points yesterday, bringing their two-day total to eight and putting them in 20th overall.

MENS SWIMMING IN 15TH, WOMEN 22ND AFTER DAY ONE AT ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
CAMBRIDGE, MASS. A pair of thirteenth place finishes in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays gave the Bryant mens team 16 points in the first day of the ECAC Championships at Harvard University on Friday. The women registered four points with a 15th place finish in the 200 freestyle relay, putting them in 22nd.

NEW HAVEN, CONN. - The Bulldogs jumped up one spot to fifth place after collecting 76 points during day two of the Northeast Conference Championships in New Haven on Friday, giving them a two day total of 126 points.

WOMENS SWIMMING IN SIXTH AFTER DAY 1 OF NORTHEAST CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
NEW HAVEN, CONN. The Bryant University womens swim team picked up 50 points on the first day of the Northeast Conference Championship meet, putting them in sixth place with two days of competition remaining. Central Connecticut stands in first place with 192 points after winning four events on the first day.

BURLINGTON, VT- The Bryant University womens swim team fell to the University of Vermont, 138-112, on Saturday afternoon, leaving the squad one more dual-meet before competing in their first ever Northeast Conference Championship meet beginning February 12.

SWIM TEAMS FALL TO STONY BROOK AS POOL RECORDS GO DOWN AT THE CHACE CENTER
SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University men's and women's swim teams both fell to Stony Brook Saturday afternoon at the Chace Center in their final home meet of the season. The Seawolves beat the men by a score of 141-109, while the women were knocked off by a final of 143-97.

FAIRFIELD, CONN.- The Bryant University mens and womens swim teams each defeated Manhattan College in a tri-meet Saturday afternoon that also featured Fairfield University. The men won by a final tally of 166-29 while the women finished with a score of 135-67.

BRYANT SWIMMING SWEPT BY FRIARS SATURDAY AFTERNOON
PROVIDENCE, RI- The Bryant University mens and womens swim teams fell to Providence on Saturday, despite setting 21 school records in 28 total events swum. The men would find themselves on the short end of a 148-112 final score, while the women were knocked-off by a final of 151-111.

MENS AND WOMENS SWIMMING SWEEP FALCONS FOR SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR
SMITHFIELD, RI- The Bryant University mens and womens swim teams took down the Bentley Falcons by scores of 113-92 on the mens side and 106-91 on the womens side. The wins were the first as this season for both teams, as they each improve to 1-3 and earn their first victories as a Division I program.

KINGSTON, RI- The Bryant University womens swim team fell to Rhode Island, 228-66, and Maine, 237-51, in a three team meet at URI Sunday morning. The meet was highlighted for the Bulldogs by junior Jess Looney (Goffstown, N.H.) who broke the school record in the 500 freestyle.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING STUMBLES AGAINST BC, 133-110; WHITTAKER BREAKS SCHOOLS RECORD
CHESTNUT HILL, MA- Freshman Abby Whittaker (Salisbury, Mass.) broke the school record in the 100 yard fly with a time of 1:02.97, but it was not enough as the Bryant University women's swim team fell to Boston College, 133-110, on Halloween.

Women's Swimming Welcomes Four Talented Newcomers
SMITHFIELD, R.I. Bryant University womens swimming coach Katie Cameron will welcome four freshman standouts to campus when preseason camp opens later this summer. The Bulldogs, who will be competing in their first Division I season this fall, are coming off a tremendous season in 2007.

Women's Swimming Takes Third Place Honors at New England Meet; Jess Looney Named Swimmer of Meet
DARTMOUTH, MA - The Bryant University women's swim team placed third at the 2008 New England Swimming & Diving Championships hosted by UMass Dartmouth over the weekend. The Bulldogs earned 748 points and placed third out of 21 teams from throughout New England competing. Sophomore Jess Looney (Goffstown, NH) was named the Swimmer of the Meet.
