CHESTNUT HILL, MA- Freshman Abby Whittaker (Salisbury, Mass.) broke the school record in the 100 yard fly with a time of 1:02.97, but it was not enough as the Bryant University women's swim team fell to Boston College, 133-110, on Halloween.
The Bulldogs went on to sweep the 100 yard fly, as Margaret Dickinson (West Newbury, Mass.) and Sarah Drew (Milton, Mass.) finished behind Whittaker in second and third places respectively.
Allison Schaab (Boothwyn, Penn.) and Jess Looney (Goffstown, N.H.) would produce the only other wins in the meet, with Schaab taking down the 200 yard breastroke with a time of 2:45.54, and Looney swimming a 5:21.81 to come out on top in the 500 yard freestyle.
The Bulldogs will travel to URI for a tri-meet with the Rams and Maine on Sunday (11 a.m.).
