SWIMMING HOSTS BLACK BEARS IN HOME OPENER FRIDAY AT 5 PM
SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University mens and womens swim teams open up the home season this Friday evening hosting the University of Maine Black Bears in a dual meet starting at 5 pm. Friday's meet will be the first of three-straight at home for the Bulldogs who will host Boston College on Sunday, November 1 and Providence College on Friday, November 13th.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University Athletic Department and many of it 22 varsity sports will be hosting events this weekend, Oct. 2-4, for Homecoming 2009, headlined by the Bulldog football team's 1 p.m. Saturday matchup against Wagner College.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING SIGNS FIVE TO NATIONAL LETTERS OF INTENT
SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Bryant University head women's swim coach Katie Cameron is pleased to announce the signing of five student-athletes to National Letters of Intent to enroll and participate in women's swimming at the University this fall. The announcement was made today by Cameron and Director of Athletics Bill Smith.

BRYANT SWIMMING CONCLUDES COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT WITH BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF LINCOLN-CUMBERLAND
SMITHFIELD, R.I.- The Bryant University men's and women's swim teams concluded a four-week long community service project with the Boys and Girls Club of Lincoln-Cumberland, where the teams helped young boys and girls improve their swimming skills.

BRYANT STUDENT-ATHLETES EARN NEC SCHOLAR AWARDS
SOMERSET, NJ Four Bryant University student-athletes have been named to the Northeast Conference Winter Commissioners Honor Roll and 18 additional student-athletes have been named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll announced this week by the conference office.
The Commissioners Honor Roll honors those with a 3.75 or better grade point average. All Scholar-Athlete award winners must have earned a minimum of 60 semester hours, maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20 and participated with distinction as a member of a varsity team.
