SWIMMING'S CASEY OSTRANDER NAMED NEC SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Bryant University freshman standout Casey Ostrander (Yarmouthport, Mass.) was named the Northeast Conference swimmer of the week after helping lead the Bulldogs to a win over Providence College last week.

Ostrander continues to set new records with each meet. The freshman took home three first-place finishes in Friday's win over Providence College at home.

Ostrander set a new pool and school record with a win in the 100 back (59.03) and later took top honors in both the 50 and 100 free (25.16, 56.11) helping the Bulldogs to their first victory of the season.
