SMITHFIELD, RI - Bryant University women's tennis sophomore Sacha Solomon (Bourne, Mass.) is ranked 27th nationally in the latest ITA Division II poll. BYU-Hawaii's Jing Jing Liu is ranked No. 1 nationally. Regionally, Solomon is ranked No. 1 in singles, just ahead of Yvonne Niederbracht of IUP. She is the only player from the Northeast-10 Conference ranked in the top 15 in the region. In doubles, the tandem of Solomon and Alanna Santanello is ranked No. 10 in the Northeast Region.
Bryant is coming of its best season in 2004, posting an undefeated conference record and earning its first-ever trip to the NCAA tournament last spring.
