RINDGE, N.H. - The Bryant University women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory over Franklin Pierce in Northeast-10 Conference match this afternoon.
Bryant set the tone by dropping just four games in sweeping the three doubles matches. Sophomore Sacha Solomon (Bourne, Mass./Bourne), the ITA East Regional Champion, posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Franklin Pierce freshman CoCo Minott (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) at No. 1 singles and teamed with classmate Annette Jervasi (Colchester, Conn./Bacon Academy) for an 8-3 decision at No. 1 doubles. Jervasi also collected a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles.
Bryant (17-1, 11-0 NE-10) concludes its regular season on Saturday when it hosts Assumption College on Senior Day at the Bryant Tennis Courts.
