BRYANT WOMEN DEFEAT SOUTHERN N.H. 5-0
Northeast-10 Conference Women's Tennis Quarterfinals
 
SMITHFIELD, RI -  The Bryant University women's tennis opened the 2005 Northeast-10 Conference tournament with a 5-0 win over Southern New Hampshire here Wednesday afternoon.  The Bulldogs, the top seed of the tournament and defending champion, won all three doubles points to open the match and earned straight-set wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles to clinch the match.  

Bryant's No. 1 doubles tandem of Sacha Solomon and Annette Jervasi trailed early in their match with their Southern New Hampshire's Juliet Verhofstad and Michelle Saggese but rallied back to win 8-5.  

Bryant will host the conference tournament semifinals on Saturday and the championship on Sunday at the Bryant tennis courts.
