2008 Northeast-10 Conference Women's Tennis Tournament

Freshman Katie Francazio clinched Wednesday win over Assumption with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Meg Wnuk.

 SMITHFIELD, RI - Top-seeded Bryant University breezed through a quick 5-0 win over eighth-seed Assumption College in Northeast-10 Conference Quarterfinal action Wednesday at the Bryant Tennis Courts Complex.  The Bulldogs rode strong doubles play into singles with Lauren Mullen (Braintree, RI) defeating Grace Fox, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6 and Katie Francazio (Cranston, RI) clinching the win with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Meg Wnuk at No. 4 singles.  

The Bulldogs will face Stonehill College, a 5-1 quarterfinal winner over Merrimack, this Friday at 3 p.m. at the Bryant Tennis Courts.
