BRYANT UNIVERSITY WOMEN'S TENNIS

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -  Bryant University is pleased to announce the signing of Cranston's Katie Francazio. Francazio will join the class of 2011 and will attend Bryant University beginning in the fall of 2007. The announcement was made by Athletic Director Bill Smith and Women's Tennis Coach Barbara Cilli.

Francazio, who currently attends Lasalle Academy, has played in the number one singles position for all four years. She is a four-time first-team all-state member and a two-year captain.

Francazio led her team to four division championships and a state championship in her senior year. She is currently ranked 35^th according to the New England 18 and under rankings.

Francazio's father, Robert, is a Bryant graduate.
