Women's Tennis Advances to Conference Semifinals With 5-0 Win over Saint Anselm

NORTHEAST - 10 CONFERENCE QUARTERFINALS
# 3 Bryant Defeats #6 Saint Anselm 5-0

SMITHFIELD, RI
– The Bryant women’s tennis team, ranked third in the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament defeated sixth-seeded Saint Anselm 5-0 Thursday afternoon.

With the victory, the Bulldogs advance to the semifinals where they will take on second-ranked Bentley College Saturday (3:30 p.m.) at Stonehill College.

Playing in their final matches at home, seniors Sacha Solomon and Annette Jervasi won their doubles match 8-4, while Solomon dominated her singles match winning 6-4, 6-1. Michelle Burke also won her singles match 6-2, 6-1 to close out the contest.
