BRYANT WOMEN'S TENNIS DEFEATS AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL 9-0 TUESDAY

SMITHFIELD, RI -  The Bryant women's tennis won its fifth match in a row thanks to a 9-0 win over visiting American International College Tuesday afternoon at the Bryant Tennis Courts.  The Bulldogs rode the strong play of its No. 1 and No. 2 senior tandem of Sacha Solomon (Bourne, Mass.) and Annette Jervasi (Colchester, Mass.) and picked up a pair of default victories to improve to 11-2 overall on the season and 11-1 in the NE-10. 

Solomon cruised to a straight-set win at No. 1, defeating Sarah Pfefferkorn 6-1, 6-0 while Jervasi improved to 12-0 in conference play this season thanks to a 6-2, 6-0 win over Sara Strezempek. 

Bryant will take part in the Bloomsburg Duals this Friday and Saturday at Bloomsburg University (Pa.).
