WOMEN'S TENNIS HOSTS NJIT IN ONLY HOME MATCH OF THE SEASON SATURDAY AT 1:30 P.M.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The women's tennis team returns to the Bryant courts this weekend to host its first and only home match of the season. The Bulldogs will be hosting fellow Division I transitioner NJIT at 1:30 p.m. as they look to end their inaugural DI season with their fourth win of the year.

The Bulldogs are coming off a tough match against Holy Cross this past Saturday, falling to the Crusaders 5-2.  Morganne Downing (Cherry Hills, CO) and Valeria Couto Cuervo (Guaynabo, PR) earned Bryant two points with victories at No. 1 and No. 3 singles.  Downing also paired up with Katharine Francazio (Cranston, RI) to take an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
