BRYANT FALLS TO HOFSTRA IN WOMEN'S TENNIS ACTION SATURDAY AFTERNOON
SMITHFIELD, RI- The Bryant University women's tennis team fell to Hofstra on Sunday afternoon, 7-0, despite getting a hard fought victory from Emma Czarnecki and Katharine Francazio in first doubles. The duo beat Christie Gattelaro and Stacey Kent 8-3. The Bulldogs were not able to earn a win in any of the singles matches. Czarnecki forced a tiebreak in the first set of her singles match versus Lauren Clefton, but fell in the end 7-5, 6-1.
Bryant will take to the court again next weekend when they compete in the New England Championships.
