Bulldogs Honored Once More By The Northeast-10

Bryant swept all conference weekly honors this week as Michelle Muniz (Guayabo, Puerto Rico) was named Northeast-10 Player of the Week; Tiffany Garry (Frankfort, IL) was named NE-10 Setter of the Week; and Jessica Henson (Bedford, TX) was named Freshman of the Week. For Henson, it is the second honor of the year for the Bulldog outside hitter.

Muniz, the conference player of the year in 2003, earned her second weekly player of the week honor for 2004 after averaging 5.30 kills and 4.50 digs in Bryant 3-0 weekend at the Bentley tournament. Muniz was named MVP with 23 kills and 20 digs in a 3-1 win over East Stroudsburg and also added 18 kills in a 3-0 win over regional foe Mercy.

Garry, a freshman setter for the Bulldogs, earned her first weekly conference honor by averaging 14.20 assists in the three matches this weekend. She had a personal-best 55 assists against East Stroudsburg and added 45 assists in Bryant's 3-0 win over Mercy.

Henson averaged 3.40 kilsl and 3.10 digs and hit .476 with 12 kilsl in the team's win over Mercy. She also had eight blocks and four service aces over the weekend.

Carola Pierluisi (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) was named to the weekly NE-10 Honor Roll with 9.14 digs per game including a career-best 38 digs against East Stroudsburg - three shy of setting a new school record.
