Bryant Finishes Northeast-10 Play Undefeated

SMITHFIELD, RI – The Bryant University volleyball team swept Saint Michael’s College 3-0 in a Northeast-10 Conference match played today at the Chace Athletic Center.

With the win Bryant finishes Northeast-10 play undefeated at 14-0.

Bryant won by scores of 30-21, 30-9, 30-23. They were led by junior outside hitter Michelle Muniz (Guaynabo, PR) who had 29 attacks and 16 kills.

Freshman setter Tiffany Garry (Frankfort, IL) added 38 assists. Sophomore middlehitter Jessica Cegarra (Danville, NH) chipped in with 14 attacks and seven kills.

Bryant (31-5) will return to action next Friday and Saturday, November 12 and 13, when they compete in the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament to be held at American International College. The Bulldogs will enter the tournament as the No. 1 seed.
