Women?s Volleyball Sweeps Bridgeport 3-0

BRIDGEPORT, CONN ? The Bryant University women?s volleyball team swept the University of Bridgeport 3-0 in a non-conference match played Saturday at Harvey Hubbal Gym.
The Bulldogs (23-3, 10-0) won by scores of 30-23, 31-29, and 30-27. Junior outside hitter Michelle Muniz (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) led the way for Bryant notching 18 kills and 20 digs.
Senior Libero Carola Pierluisi (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) also added 20 digs. Freshman outside hitter Jessica Henson (Bedford. TX) had 10 kills and 13 digs. Freshman setter Tiffany Garry (Frankfort, IL) chipped in with 39 assists.
Bryant will return to action Thursday, October 21, when they travel to the University of New Haven for a non-conference matchup with the Chargers in New Haven, Conn. Game time is set for 7:00 PM.
