Bulldogs Sweep Conference Honors

SMITHFIELD, RI - Michelle Muniz, Tiffany Garry, and Jessica Henson were named Northeast-10 Conference Volleyball Players of the Week respectively the conference announced Monday.

Muniz

Muniz, a junior outside hitter from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, led Bryant to a pair of wins last week with an average of 6.5 kills per game and six digs per game. She had 21 kills and 16 digs in a win over UMass Lowell and followed with 18 kills and 20 digs in a 3-0 sweep at Bridgeport Saturday. She also had five service aces in the match.

Garry, a freshman setter from Frankfort, IL, averaged 13 assists per game last week with 39 against Lowell and 39 at Bridgeport.

Henson, a freshman outside hitter from Bedford, Texas had 14 kills and hit .314 in the team's win at Lowell and also added 17 digs defensively plus a pair of solo blocks. In Saturday's win at Bridgeport, she had 10 kills and 13 digs.

The Bulldogs host Merrimack on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
