Volleyball Defeats Assumption 3-0 Tuesday

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Bryant women's volleyball team picked up a 3-0 Northeast-10 Conference win at Assumption on Tuesday. Game scores were 30-18, 30-21, 30-11.

Three Bulldogs tallied 10 kills in the match with sophomore Beth Schlatterer finishing with ten on 17 swings while the Jessica tandem of Jessica Cegarra and Jessica Henson added 10 kills of their own with Henson adding eight digs and a pair of solo blocks.

Freshman setter Tiffany Garry had 42 assists and eight of Bryant's 22 service aces on the night. Michelle Muniz played only one game, but still managed to contribute five kills, three aces, and eigth digs as the Bulldogs won their 26th match of the season.

Bryant (26-4, 12-0)will return home to host the Bryant Halloween Classic this Friday and Saturday. The team will face conference rival Bentley in the first match on Friday at 4:30 p.m. The Falcons (15-9, 9-2 NE-10) have won four of their last five though fell to Pace 3-2 on Sunday.
