Bryant Sweeps Through Day 1 of Halloween Classic

SMITHFIELD, RI ? The Bryant University volleyball team sweep through the first day of the Bryant Halloween Classic beating Bentley and Bloomfield 3-0 each today, in matches played at the Chace Athletic Center. With the sweep Bryant improved their record to (28-4).
In match one of the classic Bryant beat Northeast-10 Conference Bentley by scores of 30-21, 30-28, 30-20. The Bulldogs were led by Carola Pierluisi?s 18 digs, Jessica Cegarra 19 attacks and 11 kills, Jessica Henson 30 attacks and 15 kills, and Michelle Muniz 34 attacks, and 18 kills.
In their second match of the classic Bryant defeated Bloomfield College 30-23, 30-16, 30-16. The Bulldogs were led by Perluisi?s12 digs; Tiffany Garry 25 assists, Vanessa Lavalle 20 attacks and 12 kills, and Crystal Faust 21 attack and 11 kills.
The Bulldogs will return to action for Day 2 of the Halloween Classic tomorrow, when they face C.W. Post and 12:00PM and Queens College at 2:00PM.
