Bulldogs Go 3-1 at Halloween Classic

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant women's volleyball team went 3-1 at this weekend's Halloween Classic at the Chace Athletic Center. After rolling to 3-0 wins over Bentley and Bloomfield, the Bulldogs picked up a 3-1 win over C.W. Post but fell to Queens College in the final 0-3.

Michelle Muniz paced the Bulldogs with 13 kills and 13 digs against Queens while freshman Jessica Henson added ten kills. In the first match of the day, the Bulldogs got a solid effort from the entire roster as Muniz had 13 kills in two games while Vanessa Lavallee and Lindsay Klix paced the Bulldogs with 11 and 10 kills respectively.

Freshman setter Tiffany Garry had 56 assists in the four-game match with the Pioneers, and added nine service aces.

Prior to the Queens match, Bryant honored senior Carola Pierluisi as part of Senior Weekend.

The Bulldogs will travel to Stonehill on Tuesday and host Saint Michael's next Friday at 7 p.m.
