Volleyball on the Road This Weekend

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant women's volleyball team travels to Long Island this weekend for a pair of non-conference matches with C.W. Post and New York Tech. The Bulldogs are currently 17-2 on the season after Tuesday's 3-0 win over Saint Anselm.
In the win over Saint Anselm, Michelle Muniz had one of her best matches of the season, hitting .678 offensively with 21 kilsl and just two errors on 28 swings. She also added 14 digs and added a career-high eight service aces keeping just two aces shy of a triple-double.
Jessica Cegarra added 10 kills and four blocks in the match. For the season, Cegarra has 57 blocks, just one behind team leader Lindsay Klix' 58 this season.
Bryant has won six-straight and 16 of their last 17 matches. The only loss during that stretch was to Dowling back on Sept. 17.
Freshman setter Tiffany Garry was named the Northeast-10 Conference Setter of the Week for the third-consecutive week as she enters this weekend with 708 assists on the season - 12.42 assists per game.
Garry has also proved to be a strong addition to the lineup with 22 blocks and 36 service aces.
