Volleyball Improves to 4-1

ALBANY, NY - The Bryant women's volleyball team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 3-1 win over Saint Rose on Saturday. Michelle Muniz (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) had 17 kills to lead the way offensive for Bryant and also chipped in with 20 defensive digs and five blocks. Sophmore Jessica Cegarra (Danville, N.H.) and junior Lindsay Klix (Rochester Hills, MI) each added eight kills offensively while sophomore Beth Schlatterer (Arlington Heights, IL) added six kills
Northeast-10 Conference Freshman of the Week Jessica Henson (Bedford, TX) continues to play well in her first season for the Bulldogs. The 5-10 outside hitter had a career-best 16 kills on 35 swings and also chipped in with six defensive digs.
Freshman setter Tiffany Garry (Frankfort, IL) had 45 assists in the match for the Bulldogs. Bryant, the defending conference champion, will travel to Le Moyne on Sunday for a 12 p.m. match before returning home on Tuesday night to host Franklin Pierce in the home opener at 7:00 p.m.
