BULLDOGS PICK UP 3-0 WIN OVER AIC WEDNESDAY

SPRINGFIELD,Mass. ? (September 7, 2005) Tiffany Garry (Frankfort, Ill.) handed out 35 assists to lead Bryant University to a 3-0 win over American International College in Northeast-10 women's volleyball Wednesday evening at Butova Gymnasium.

The Bulldogs, who won by scores of 30-21, 30-17, 30-11, improve to 1-4 and 1-0 in league play, while the Yellow Jackets now stand at 0-4 and 0-1 in the conference.

Vanessa Lavallee (Gilford, N.H.) had 11 kills and Jessica Cegarra (Danville, N.H.) notched 10.  Delia Glover (Marston Mills, Mass.) had eight digs and six service aces for Bryant, the defending Northeast-10 champion, while Maureen Atkins (Fenton, Mo.) had seven digs.

For American International, Zane Berzina (Talsi, Lativa) totaled 10 digs and two kills, while Krystle Neves (North Quincy, Mass.) added five kills.

The Bulldogs will host the Bryant Invitational this weekend with the Bulldogs scheduled to take on Wilmington Friday at 8 p.m. and Mercy and Saint Anselm on Saturday.
