SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University women's volleyball team split a pair of matches Saturday afternoon at the Chace Athletic Center as the Bulldogs rallied from down 2-1 to defeat Georgian Court, 3-2 in the opener. In the nightcap, the Bulldogs dropped a 3-0 decision to the region's top team, Dowling College. The loss was Bryant's first at home in 15 matches.
Likica Grceva paced the Bulldogs in the 3-2 win over Georgian Court as the senior had 21 kills and added 13 digs defensively. Tiffany Garry had 40 assists and seven service aces while sophomore Morgan Wood had nine kills.
In the nightcap, Dowling's Patrycja Klekotka had 13 kills and
Kali Kuhl added 12 as Dowling rolled to a 3-0 win. Grceva had
19 kills as the Bulldogs were held to .094 hitting
offensively. Bryant will host Franklin Pierce Tuesday night
at 7 pm.
