SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University volleyball team will travel to western Pennsylvania this weekend for a pair of Northeast Conference matchups. The Bulldogs will take on Robert Morris on Saturday (3 p.m.) before facing off against Saint Francis (PA) Sunday afternoon (1 p.m.).

TOLEDO, OH – Maria Scocca tallied seven kills and added three blocks on the night, but it was not enough as the University of Toledo downed the Bryant University women’s volleyball team 3-0 Friday evening in the Bulldog’s season opener at the eighth annual Staybridge Suites Rocket Classic. SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University volleyball team was recognized among a record 409 programs to earn the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for its success in the classroom during the 2008-09 school year, as announced by the AVCA Monday.
