Klepadlo Repeats as Northeast-10 Champion

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Bryant's Paula Klepadlo successfully defended her Northeast-10 Conference Cross Country Individual title with a first-place finish at the conference meet on Sunday. Klepadlo was named the NE-10 Conference Runner of the Year. Teammate Holly Resendes was named second team all-conference while Caleb Paul earned third team all-conference on the men's side.
Paul finished in 15th place overall in a time of 26:06 while teammate Jared Nelson was 29th in 26:57 as the men's team finished fifth overall in the final team standings. The Bulldogs were seventh at last year's championship.
Klepadlo, an all-American after finishing 11th at last year's NCAA Championships, finished in a time of 17:51, just ahead of UMass Lowell's Nicole Plante who was a little over three seconds behind Klepadlo at 17:54. Resendes took 12th in 19:07 while Nicole Radzik was 23rd in 19:26 as the women's team finished in sixth place in the final standings.
The Bulldogs will return to action on Nov. 7 when they travel to the NCAA Regional Championships in Franklin Park.
