SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University Cross Country Invitational will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the Bryant Cross Country Course. The women's 5,000 meter race will start at 11 a.m. followed by the men's 8K at 11:45 a.m. Both invitational races will be run in accordance with the men's and women's cross country and track & field rules.
The top 15 individuals and first place teams will receive awards. Entry fee is $75 per team ($150 for both men and women). Coaches must submit a completed team roster to the MEET DIRECTOR no later than 5 p.m. on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2005. There is no limit of entrants per institution on the entry form which can be downloaded below.
5,000 meters - First mile is flat, second mile is rolling,
finish is flat. Most of the course is grass and woods and is
very challenging. Flat soled shoes or spikes are
recommended.
