Goodwin and Casey Named to All-Academic Team

SOUTH EASTON, MASS. - Bryant cross-country
athletes Jennifer Goodwin (Yarmouthport, Mass.)
and Tom Casey (New Windsor, N.Y.) were named to
the 2006 Northeast-10 All-Academic Team.
Goodwin, a senior, was a second-team selection. She has maintained a 3.55 g.p.a. while double majoring in applied psychology and sociology.
Casey, a sophomore and third-team honoree, had a 3.46 g.p.a. and is studying finance.
To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a
student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum
requirements: 1) participated in at least half of the team's
competitions and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2)
achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and
3) completed at least one academic year at his/her current
institution. The Northeast-10 All-Academic Teams are chosen by a
vote of the Northeast-10 Sports Information Directors.
