Cross Country Teams Compete at UMass Dartmouth Saturday

MEN'S VARSITY RESULTS / WOMEN'S VARSITY RESULTS
NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The Bryant University men's and women's cross country teams competed Saturday morning at the UMass Dartmouth Shriners' Invitational with the Bryant men finishing 12th out of 29 schools competing and the women's team placing 15th out of 33 in varsity competition.
Leading the way for the men was Tom Casey who was Bryant's top overall finisher, placing 53rd in 27 minutes, 18 seconds over the five mile course. Andrew Holmes was next in 64th in 27:35 while Nathaniel Green (28:03) and Brian Ford (28:03) were 82nd and 83rd respectively.
The Bryant women were led by Nicole Radzik's strong 19th-place finish in 19:10 over the 5 kilometer course. Kara Tranquillo (20:40) and Jennifer Goodwin (21:09) crossed the line in 78th and 92nd respectively.
Bryant will travel to the Rhode Island College Invitational Sept. 23.
