Bryant Men Second, Women Third at Ray Dwyer Invitational Saturday

MEN'S RESULTS / WOMEN'S RESULTS
PROVIDENCE, RI - The Bryant University men's and women's cross country teams placed second and third respectively at Saturday's Ray Dwyer Invitational held at Goddard Park. The Bryant men finished with 44 team points to place second among six teams competing. The Bulldog women earned 96 points for third. US Coast Guard came away victorious in both races with Wellesley's women earning a second-place finish with 49 points.
Andrew Holmes (Holden, Mass.) was led the way for the men with a fourth-place finish of 32 minutes, three seconds over the 8-kilometer course. Tom Casey (New Windsor, NY) and freshman Nathaniel Green (York, Maine) gave Bryant an addition top-10 finishers, crossing the line in 8th and 9th respectively.
Nicole Radzik (Sutton, Mass.) led the way for the women with a fourth-place finish in a time of 19:11 while Kara Tranquillo (Stratford, Conn.) was 18th. Senior Jennifer Goodwin (Yarmouthport, Mass.) placed 25th in 20:54 over the 5K course.
The Bulldogs will host the annual Bryant Invitational next Saturday (Sept. 30) at the Bryant Cross Country Course.
