      <description>SOUTH EASTON, Mass. -  The Bryant University men's cross country team has been selected by the Northeast-10 Conference as the recipient of the 2007 Fall Sportsmanship Award.  The fall awards were handed out by the league in sports of football, men's and women's cross country, field hockey, volleyball, men's golf, and men's and women's soccer.</description>

      <description>JOPLIN, Missouri - Bryant University senior cross country standout Nicole Radzik (Sutton, Mass.) concluded her stellar career with a 40th place showing at the 2007 NCAA Division II National Championship race Saturday.   Radzik, the Northeast-10 Conference and NCAA Northeast Regional Champion, finished in a time of 21 minutes, 50 seconds in the national meet.   Seattle Pacific's Jessica Pixler was the overall winner, finishing in 20:29.</description>

Radzik, the 2007 Northeast-10 Conference Champion, earned a trip to the NCAA Championships for the second year in a row by finishing in a time of 22 minutes, 43 seconds.</description>

      <description>Senior Nicole Radzik (Sutton, Mass.) won her fourth overall individual title of the 2007 season on the biggest stage yet - the Northeast-10 Conference Championships at Stonehill College last Sunday. Radzik beat out Bentley's Melissa Nash to cross the finish line first with a season-best time of 18:28.3, earning her Cross Country Women's Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.&#xD;

Radzik also earned 2007 First-Team All-Conference honors and was named Women's Runner of the Year.&#xD;

Six other Bulldogs from four different sports - volleyball, football and men's and women's soccer - earned spots on the weekly honor roll.</description>

Radzik, who has now won four individual titles in meets this fall, finished the 5K course in a season-best time of 18 minutes, 28 seconds. The women placed ninth with the men's team placing fifth overall.</description>

The Bryant men placed 35th out of 43 teams competing with Tom Casey and Nathaniel Green finishing in 183rd and 184 respectively.  The Bryant women were led by Nicole Radzik who placed 35th in a time of 19 minutes, 12 seconds.</description>

Nassaney Memorial Foundation and Bryant University host the 7th Annual Shawn M. Nassaney Memorial Cross Country Race/Walk. The race starts at 1 p.m. The race is held in memory of the Bulldogs' former cross country captain - a 1998 graduate of Bryant who was a casualty of United Airlines Flight 175 on Sept. 11, 2001. The event is coordinated by the Shawn M. Nassaney Memorial Foundation, which was established to raise funds for the endowed Shawn M. Nassaney Memorial Foundation.</description>

On the women's side, Bryant's Nicole Radzik (pictured) was the overall winner as the women placed second.</description>

The Bulldogs, under the direction of interim coach Stephanie Reilly, will look to senior Nicole Radzik (Sutton, Mass.) to lead the way this season.  Radzik was an NCAA qualifier last season.  Reilly, a 2002 graduate of Providence College, takes over for Trish Hillery who resigned to return to teaching earlier this summer.</description>
