STEPHANIE REILLY NAMED INTERIM CROSS COUNTRY / TRACK & FIELD COACH

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Reilly as interim head cross country / track & field coach. The announcement was made today by Athletics Director Bill Smith. Reilly replaces Trish Hillery who resigned to pursue other career opportunities.
Reilly previously served as an assistant coach with the Bryant Cross Country and Track & Field teams this past year. A 2001 graduate of Providence College, she was a member of two New England Championship teams in 1998 and 1999 and one BIG EAST Conference Championship team in 1997. Named indoor track team captain in 2000 and outdoor captain in 2001, she was an NCAA provisional qualifier in the 3000 meters in 1998.
A native of Ireland, Reilly was a three-time Irish national champion in the 800 meters, 1500m and 3,000m in high school and represented the Irish national team at the European Junior Championships. In 2004, she received her masters degree in Guidance and Counseling from Providence College.
