MEN FINISH 7TH, WOMEN 13TH AT CCSU MINI-MEET

NEW BRITAIN, CT-  The Bryant University men's cross-country team finished 7^th while the women finished 13^th out of 14 teams at the Central Connecticut State University Mini-Meet on Saturday. The men, competing in the 5k race, were led by senior Tom Casey, who finished 21^st with a time of 15 minutes, 46 seconds. Justin Getts (15:50) and John Mitton (15:52) followed Casey, crossing the line in 27^th and 29^th places respectively. Rounding out the pack were Drew Clark, who finished 54^th, and Mark Kenwood, who finished in 61^st.

The women, competing in the two mile race, were led by Kat Ragone who came in 48^th place with a time of 12 minutes, 16 seconds. Casey Fenwick (56^th place) finished just behind Ragone, with a time of 12:23, while Jennifer Denise ran a 12:25 to come in 59^th place. Also finishing for the Bulldogs were Amanda Garber in 74^th, and Megan Cordi in 80^th.

Up next for both teams will be the Northeast Conference Championships November 1 at West Long Branch, N.J.
