Senior Night for Bryant University hosted at Brown

Senior Night for Bryant University hosted at Brown

SMITHFIELD, RI- Bryant kicked off the weekend by playing against Connecticut College ranked #29 and lost 9-0. At #9, Tim Reale played a very hard match almost getting a game off his opponent, losing 12-10 in the third game.

Bryant then kicked off Sunday (end of the regular season) with their Senior Day at Brown University when the team hosted Babson College. Bryant defeated Babson 8-1, with wins from all the seniors #4 Michael Gough, #5 Richard Appel, #6 Matthew Lawson, #7 Brandon Bush, #8 Jacob Hunt, #9 Tyler Goldstein and #10 Tim Reale, #2 Yuvraj Duggal, and #3 Jonathan Lewis. The wins from Duggal and Lewis helped the team claim the victory. A few of the matches extended into 4 games, but Bryant ultimately had success this day. The Bryant Squash team is really thankful for everyone that came out and supported them at Brown.

The last time the Bryant Squash team won their division in Nationals was 4 years ago, so we hope to end the drought as they finished with a 5-7 record! They are now preparing for the College Nationals on February 23rd-25th at the Westminster School in CT, as they hope to bring back a trophy.
