Bryant concludes fall season Monday at FGCU Classic

ESTERO, Fla. – The Bryant University men's golf team placed 13th at the Homewood/Hilton Garden Airport & FGCU Classic, which concluded with 18 holes Monday at Old Corkscrew Golf Club.

The 54-hole event was trimmed to 36 due to course and weather conditions at Old Corkscrew with the final 18 played Monday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Bulldogs finished 13th in the 13-team event with a two-day score of 685 (+109). Bryant recorded a team score of 345 Monday.
  • Graduate John Roberts (West Hartford, Conn.) carded a 79 Monday for the Bulldogs' best result of the day. Roberts led Bryant with a 45th-place finish.
  • Sophomore Connor Henderson (Southborough, Mass.) was second on the team with a 49th-place result and shot an 87 Monday, while sophomore Steve Tasho (North Easton, Mass.) recorded an 88 for a 56th-place finish.
  • Junior Ryan Brown (Bedford, N.H.) finished tied with Tasho for 56th, while junior Jake Ratti (Hanover, Mass.) placed 62nd.
