Bryant starts spring slate Monday at LPGA International

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Bryant University men's golf team opens its 2019 spring schedule when the Bulldogs travel to LPGA International Monday and Tuesday for the Lonnie Barton Invitational.

Bryant will tee off at 8 a.m. Monday in a tournament consisting of 20 collegiate teams.

Bulldog Notes and Notables

  • Bryant begins its spring season at the site of the Northeast Conference Championships and is joined by seven of the other eight NEC teams.
  • The Bulldogs finished third at the event last season led by a 10th-place finish from Connor Henderson (Southborough, Mass.), who finished +6 for the 36-hole tournament.
  • Sophomore Nick Piersall (Portland, Conn.) led the Bulldogs in the fall with a 74.7 scoring average.
  • Henderson recorded a ninth-place finish at Bryant's fall opener, the Ryan T. Lee Memorial, in September.
