Bryant meets Boston College for the fifth time in school history. The Eagles hold the series record with a perfect 4-0. Last season, the Bulldogs opened their 2017-18 schedule with the Eagles in Chestnut Hill. Boston College topped Bryant, 65-42.
Junior wing Sydney Holloway (Morgantown, W. Va.) recorded back-to-back-to-back double doubles in her first three games of the 2018-19 season. She currently records six so far this season compiling 18 points and 11 rebounds most recently against Brown. Holloway ranks second in the NEC and third in the country for her double-doubles.
Sydney Holloway had a 20/20 game against Brown on Nov. 8 where she scored 27 points and grabbed 20 rebounds. The last time a Bulldog had a 20/20 game was Holloway against Fairleigh Dickinson last season. During the second meeting with Brown in the 2018-19 season, Holloway posted 20 rebounds for a second time. No Bryant player has ever posted two 20+ rebound games in the D1 era.
NEW KID ON THE BLOCK
Taty LaFrance Boyce (Norwich, Conn.) has made her way into the starting lineup the past three games. She has become a major contributer for the Bulldogs as she continues to score a career-high in every game. Most recently, Boyce posted 17 points and was Bryant's second-leading scorer by just one point against Brown.
After the first seven games of the 2018-19 season, Bryant has out-rebounded all of their opponents except for West Virginia, Brown, and Providence where the Black and Gold matched all three opponents on the glass. Sydney Holloway leads the Bulldogs with 102 total rebounds.
ENERGY OFF THE BENCH
Most recently, Naomi Ashley (Hamilton, Ont.) chipped in 11 points against Brown, making her the third leading scorer for Bryant during that game. Ashley went 3-13 from the field and 5-6 from the foul line. The red-shirt senior also comiled seven steals in the contest.
