  • Switzer announces two new hires to coaching staff

    SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University cross country and track and field head coach Mitchell Switzer has announced two new hires to his Bulldogs staff for the 2018-19 season. Brian Fuller will be the Black and Gold’s new Assistant Cross Country and Track and Field coach, while Michael Hulme will be the new Assistant Track and Field coach.

    SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant cross country team heads to Buffalo, New York, on Friday for perhaps its biggest meet of the season: the NCAA Regional. Not only is the meet on a bigger stage, but a longer one: the men will run a 10K this weekend while the women will compete in a 6K. The women are one of 39 teams running in Friday’s race, while the men are one of 38.

The women will be competing in a 6K meet, the first of the season for them, after running in two 5Ks, while the men will be competing in their usual 8K.
